La Petite is a nice place located at the end of the tourist area of Sedona and within walking distance of everything. It's basically an updated family owned motel so don't expect luxurious accommodations. If you're looking for something resaonably priced , a nice clean room with a comfortable king size bed along with a beautiful view this is the place.

We had a great experience at La Petite Sedona. Becky and Barry are super welcoming and helpful. They provided accurate and useful info about what to expect in the hotel and navigating Sedona. The location is fantastic, very close to the shops and restaurants of Uptown Sedona. I went for a run north of town and was out in the natural beauty of Sedona within seconds. We stayed in a Family room, and it provided good space and a bit more privacy than the usual double-queen room due to the partial wall between the two beds. Free parking, great view, nice outdoor seating area overlooking the rocks. Mini fridge was good sized, not too mini. Clean and nicely decorated. We would stay here again. It felt good to support local, independent proprietors, Becky & Barry, who are working hard to provide good service and a positive experience.

On the north edge of Uptown Sedona this location is perfect. Restaurants and shopping are short walks away but you can also drive up Oak Creek Canyon on 89A for fantastic hiking and swimming. We were there for 6 days so we stayed in a cabin unit with a living room with small kitchenette. Our door and big windows faced into a wooded area and we were well away from the road and was so quiet. The bathroom is small but it and the bedroom had been recently renovated and everything was super clean. Becky and Barry were terrific and made sure we had what we needed. When we checked out, Barry took some time with us and showed us 3 of the other rooms. They were newly and tastefully renovated and those rooms had views of the massive red rock cliffs that define the town. We will definitely go back.

This worn out property needs updating. Based on the positive Trip Advisor reviews, we selected this hotel, mainly for its location. We soon learned that was its only endearing quality The heat worked if you stood one inch from the wall heater. The night time low was 33 degrees, so we really needed heat. We hoped the room would warm up but it never did. The bed was old & uncomfortable. No fancy linens here. The bathroom was tiny. Husband legs didn't fit forward on the toilet. He had to sit sideways. The shower was updated with beautiful tile but the shower head was outdated. I wasted a lot of water getting some hot water for a shower. Same for the sink. There was almost no decor to the room. The 2 chairs were old & needed the upholstery cleaned. All in all, be skeptical of previous positive reviews.

Our first trip to Sedona and we wanted to stay "uptown", Im so glad we chose this boutique hotel! The owners were great (thanks for the pizza recommendation). Everything we wanted was in walking distance. The patio area and all seating options were a great touch! If we ever make it back to Sedona, we would totally stay here again!

We came to Sedona on a whim and it was our first time visiting. When we arrived we knew we had to find lodging for our visit. After stopping at the visitors center for some recommendations we spent a few minutes poring over websites, reading reviews and trying to find an economical and centrally located room. As you may know, staying anywhere near the heart of Sedona costs a pretty penny. That is why we were surprised to find affordable rates at La Petite Sedona. We called and were warmly greeted by Becky (one of the owners) and she was able to get us a room for our stay. We quickly went to their office and met Becky and Barry (the owners). They were warm and welcoming and were a wealth of information on places to visit, restaurants to dine at, and local attractions to fill our days in Sedona. It was like visiting an old friend rather than being a customer at a business. We went to our room and were pleasantly surprised on how clean and modern it was. There is even a wonderful back patio with couches and chairs where you can sit and watch the sun rise and set on the mountain behind the hotel. It is just what a visiting couple needs to recharge before the next days adventures. They have dedicated convenient parking that even accommodated our minivan. The hotel is so centrally located, we didn’t need to drive it to get to dining or local attractions in town. By far this is our best find during our month long adventure across the south west. We will be back and next time we plan on staying longer.

I have no idea how anyone thinks this is a good value. Even for Sedona - aargh. Room small, bathroom “designed” by a troll with no neck since toilet up almost against sink. Don’t bend over too fast. Cockroaches in our dogs water dish this morning. We got out as early as possible. They got some work to do.

Wow! What a great hotel in a great location. It’s at the upper end of what they call Uptown. You can walk to the restaurants and shops. On the back side of the hotel are trees and rocks that give you the feel of Sedona. It really was a world away from our suburbia back home. We can’t wait to come back since it turns out there’s a lot more to do in Sedona than we could do in 2 days. We’ll definitely stay here next time if they have a room available. Half the pictures posted here by others are really bad quality and have bad lighting. And I think they were taken like 10 years or more ago when it used to be called something else. Our room was super clean and had 2 flat screen TVs. On the other hand, the other half of the pictures show how beautiful this place is.

We were so impressed with the service and the location. Our room had a great view coffee, fridge and microwave. I found out that they also take pets. We had a great getaway and Becky was RightOn! With all of her suggestions. We were so excited to have a nice Thanksgiving, and Sedona did not disappoint. Even during the Pandemic Becky made sure we were safe, but still took time to get to know what we wanted. The patio was very nice, we picnicked out there. Love the roses. Most important the driveway in is steep, but the driveway out was great. I love that we had no trouble getting in or out.
