I've stayed at many Hampton Inns and this one was one of the older properties. Don't expect a flat screen tv here. The double queen room had comfortable beds, but not that much room for 4 of us. The bathroom was fine and the towels were typical Hampton quality. The A/C-heater unit is in the room and can be quite loud, but it did keep the room at a comfortable temperature. We stayed two nights at the Hampton Inn in Sedona. We always are happy with Hampton Inns and this one was no different. We stayed here for two nights in July before returning to Las Vegas. The Hampton is situated on the outskirts of Sedona, around a 5-10 minute drive from the centre of Sedona. The hotel was fine - nothing special - but we had a spacious room which was clean and comfortable. We never used the swimming pool or took the complimentary breakfast, but the free internet access in the lobby was very useful. more

I like the Hampton Inn chain & always choose them as "my fall backs," if nothing more interesting/affordable comes up in searches. This is a good Hampton in an excellent location. We stayed here with our Hilton Honors points, and are glad we did. If we would have paid full price, I might have opted for one of the hotels or B&Bs with a nice outside area and view. Only stayed at the Hampton Sedona for one night on the way from Tucson to Las Vegas. Previously only stopped at Sedona for lunch going the other way.
