My hausband and I prepaid for the hotel according to the rating that we read on the internet. The Romney Hotel was so bad that I refused to stay there. This was my 3rd trip to Grand Canyon and the first time I stayed in Romney motel. I got more than what I paid for because it is a very clean and peaceful place along the historic route 66. I definitely recomend this motel for any one looking for a motel around flagstaff, grand canyon and supai falls. more
It was time once again for a vacation across country. I had called all the places I stayed at last time and booked my stay. These people were wonderful as always and gladly booked my stay. Once on site I was pleased to see all the new enhancements they have made. The place looks much more upscale with new renovations... more
dont fall for those its great etc. the place is shabby, its not up to the standards of a best western or travelodge. and those are your basic well run motels. more
We got a late start from California en route to Pennsylvania. Hotel was a welcome sight. We stayed one night in a clean, safe comfortable room. Great access to the Grand Canyon the next day. Everything is new, clean, quiet and fresh. Highly recommend this Motel for a practical roadside stay over. more
