A very average motel. Check-in staff not particularly friendly or helpful. Room OK but TV quality awful. Beware - there is no lift (elevator) to the upper floor - this is not acceptable. more

Felt like this motel was caught in a 70's timewarp. Best way I can describe it is as "average". Nothing spectacular. Nothing to get excited about. Cleanish, rooms could do with a major facelift. For a Holiday Inn Express, it is above average. I love Show Low and travel there often for business. I stay at the Holiday Inn Express because I can always count on a pleasant exterior, friendly staff, nice breakfast, and decent rooms. Seemed nicer than Expresses a decade ago. Clean. Above avg shower with shower message head. Breakfast was more than expected. Rooms in back facing south are next to the post office driveway with semi trucks in and out till early evening. more

The hotel on the outside looked nice and the lobby was good. They had fruit, chips and cookies there for you as you arrived. This is a small hotel. The rooms were okay, nothing fancy. The jets in the tub would take your skin off, they were so powerful. And the knob to turn them off is on the outside... more

We stopped here whilst travelling from Monument Valley down to Southern Arizona. The indoor pool was a welcome refresher after a long day of travelling. Our family stayed here on the way to New Mexico from Phoenix. The town itself is a lovely change from the barrenness of I-40. The motel room had that slightly tired look and hint of smoke, but was acceptable. The bathroom was very tiny. Nice complimentary breakfast. We shared the motel with many firefighters fresh off battling local forest fires. more
