We were actually going to camp at Big Lake, but we had a flat tire on the way and by the time we arrived it was pouring down rain, dark, and cold! We high-tailed it back to Springerville and luckily Reed's lodge took us in even though we didn't have a reservation and it was pretty late at night. We... more

The staff is very friendly and nice. My room had the hardest bed and pillows. The parking lot was loose gravel, I was on a motorcycle. Construction people staying there would start their diesel trucks at 4:50 in the morning and talk loud. The shower was made for someone 3 foot tall or less. I was awakened by a terrible... more

Reed's is a nice place to stay in Springerville. We planned a motorcycle ride up Hwy 191 from Bisbee. By the time we made it to Springerville, it was cold and damp. I went to the front desk and the clerk was not great but not bad. She just did her job, probably has seen every jerk in the world... more

We stayed in the town of Springerville for 2 nights at Reed's Lodge. The Knights were wonderful! They were so kind and helpful with information on where to eat and what to see. They just really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Derek made the best coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed looking through the gallery and hearing... more

We have stayed at Reed's Lodge for a few days every spring since 2001. The staff are consistently friendly, conscientious, and knowledgeable. Some of the rooms are nicer than others, and they'll tell you that up front. Tell them what you want and you won't find a better value. We're looking forward to the hot shower, comfortable bed, pleasant company,... more

I personally stay at Reeds every time we travel to the White Mts. The staff is friendly and they always know about area events and the best places to go. As native Round Valley people, they bring a sense of the area to their lodge, and the K-5 Shop always offers a variety of western treasures to purchase. Always worth... more

The worst Hotel I have ever stayed in! We booked 2 rooms for a wedding. We were put in the dirtiest oldest rooms ever! The first room was very old, dirty nasty bedspreads, nasty carpet, the curtains were hanging off the rod, a HOLE in the drop ceiling, a window in the bathroom that looked directly into a storage shed... more

If your looking for an authentic example of regional hospitality in the White Mountains, Reed's Lodge is a great place to stay. The owners and staff are highly knowlegeable about the region, and can give great advice on where to eat, hike, ski, fish or tour impressive local ancient pueblo indian sites. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated with... more

Stayed in early June 2005. Motel was well kept. The room was very clean and everthing worked. Good sized TV and extended cable. Our room opened into a court yard and was well back from the road. It was a well insulated and very quiet room. A couple decent restaurants are within walking distance. The owner, Roxanne Knight, was very... more
