This place is aboslutely disgusting! I have stayed at several Asian Indian run chains in the choicehotels chain. Usually they are up to my expectations, but this one definitely wasn't. That is saying a lot since I am not very picky! They had a home (non-commercial) waffle maker for breakfast. It was ill suited to try to accommodate the guests,... more

I could mention a number of problems with this motel, same things that others have written. The worst though: In the night I felt something crawling in my hair, it was a cockroach, then my son found one on his bed. I couldn't sleep the rest of the night, and my son didn't sleep well either after that. Continental breakfast?... more

This has to be the worst Hotel I have ever stayed at. The office was clutterd, dirty and had a strong Indian smell of food. It was nausiating. The lady did not speak English. She called a young girl from the back to assist us. I didn't feel they acted in a professional manner. It was like I was renting... more

I was in town for the P.F. Chang's half marathon and ONLY stayed at this hotel because it was free with Choice Privileges points. This was my first and last stay at an Econo Lodge. Let me just say that it is not really an Econo Lodge. It is 100% Indian owned and operated and probably a franchise so they... more

WE FOUND A CRACK PIPE, brought it to the desk and the employee stated that " if your room wasn't a mess, then the cleaning people would have been able to find it" Which we replied to with" IT WAS HERE BEFORE WE CHECKED IN!!!" This hotel was disgusting, dirty and poorly taken care of. The neighborhood is terrible and... more

I was in the area for the State fair, booked my room at this hotel for the great rate they offered me but to tell the truth i was scared about its reputation. Checking into the room, i noticed that i the hotel lobby was newly renovated. When asked the front desk, they stated that its under new ownership and... more

We rented 2 rooms at his hotel. Refrigeraters not cold due to needing de-frosting. Bathroom base trim rotted away from the wall and deris from rot laying on floor. Long hairs all over bathroom floor and in tub. I washed tub out with alcohol and rag turned black and gooey. There were 3"-4" long sharp peices of metal frame and... more

The Wi-Fi worked but nothing else. The door wouldn't lock when we left so we had to take our valuables with us. There were black smudges on the pillowcases, soap so old it broke into pieces when you unwrapped it, wallpaper accents peeling off the walls. Definitely not worth the price. more

I reserved a nonsmoking room and was told that there wasn't a nonsmoking room available because I didn't reserve one! The lobby was dismal! The coffee pots were stained with white residue and there was no coffee! The first attendant at the front desk didn't speak English. The attendant that did speak English looked like he had rolled out of... more

I would never recommend Econo Lodge on Apache Blvd. to anyone. Upon our arrival, our room was in terrible shape. The headboard fell off the bed, crooked toilet and the sink was absolutely filthy. The pillows were like rock. The shower was not running good (very slow drip). The neighborhood is not safe either. I am sorry I did not... more
