Rarely do I stumble upon a hotel that makes me want to come back on a monthly basis. Roca Verde was the perfect casis. Rooms were fantastic. stayed here one night on our way down the road. rooms were clean. owner is originally from miami and easy to talk to. big plus was immediate beach access and clean bar. a/c in clean rooms. we had more of a budget room. bar and restaurant were good, high end of the menu obviously better. easy and pretty beach walk... more

Roca Verde was a good base while we took surfing lessons for a few days in Dominical. Casual, good food at the bar which was open most of the time--especially convenient for breakfast. Not a fancy hotel but gave us the basics of lodging, for only $75 per night. more

We stayed at the Roca Verde in Sep of 2004 and absolutely loved it. There rooms were spacious and clean and the location was phantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a covered outdoor restaurant and bar there which had reasonable prices. The hotel is next the the nicest part of the beach. The Beach is good... more
