Tubac is a bit limited for places to stay if you don't want to stay on a Golf Course but if you head to the back of the town, past the church and turn left, you'll find hidden at the end of a tree-lined driveway, the Secret Garden Inn. It only has three en-suite rooms- all with doubles- but they're lovely with a country feel to them. The land lady is wonderfully eccentric, the heatings a little erratic and you'll need a flash light to get back to the room from town in the dark but it's a lovely quiet place to stay. Breakfast is put in your room the night before as the landlady isn't allowed to cook for guests on premises but she provides pastries, eggs, juice, coffee, tea etc. The birds wake you up in the eveing and the cicads chirp you to sleep. more
