Our main disappointment was the amount of time it took to drive to the actual south rim. Although Best Western lists this motel's city as Grand Canyon, it is actually in Tusayan. The drive to Grand Canyon Village is time consuming in traffic, and finding a parking spot there also takes some time. Our two nights were in the motel's... more

If you can't get into a lodge in the national park, Tusayan is pretty much your only other reasonable option if visiting the canyon. As with most destination towns it has its shortcomings and the visitor is not overwhelmed with accommodation choices there. The Squire Inn is a bit of a trip back to the 1970s in terms of its... more

hotel was friendly and the rooms were nice, breakfast was good, only thing I would say was quite hard to find as address says south rim village and it is in fact in tusayan which is in opposite direction. more

We had two rooms (connecting rooms) for one night for our stay at the Canyon and they were HUGE rooms, with HUGE bathrooms with really deep large garden tubs, comfy beds with decent pillows, and the lobby and public areas are very very nice. Staff was very friendly too. This was an excellent deal for both the money, and an... more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights from 13th Oct 09. The hotel from the outside appeared modern , and the room whilst clean , was very tired and would benefit from updating. The breakfast was served in a buffet style in a canteen style restaurant which was adequte but compared to other hotels breakfast buffet is very basic... more

Phenominal stay at this hotel while visiting the South Rim attractions of the Grand Canyon. This hotel is wonderful, loaded with things to do and a very beautiful place to stay as well. Spiral staircases, waterfalls and a wonderful gift shop. The room was big, clean, comfortable and quiet, although the heating/air conditioner unit's fan could have been quieter, the... more

We stayed here for three nights while visiting the Grand Canyon and surrounding area. There were good and bad things about our stay here. I will start with the good things. Check in went smoothly and they had the room type (non-smoking King) we had requestd ready. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was very... more

We had a very nice two night stay here. First the location can't be beat for exploring the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The entrance is just a couple of miles down the road. The BW Squire Inn has many a number of, albeit minor, features of a resort. Starting with its large lobby. It is decorated with Native... more

This is a very nice hotel. Our room was spacious, and very nice and clean. They've learned no one trusts bedspreads, and complies with an attractive throw that I assume they clean between guests. The shower was large, and in our room, a separate dressing area was provided. A very, very nice room. The best part was the complex itself.... more
