This former Bordello will delight you if you are looking for accommodation that is not only comfortable but has a bit of history attached to it - we stayed in 'Big Gal's' room - a life size model, dressed in a corset, leant out of our window into the street - she looked amazingly lifelike at times! The bakery downstairs... more

We stayed for 3 nights at the Red Garter in the 'Best Gals Room' complete with ghost!!!! This is the room that has the manaquin hanging from the window and we spent a bit of time waving out to tourists and getting our picture taken. The prime reason we stayed at Williams was the train journey to the Grand Canyon... more

The Red Garter is an awesome and unique place to stay. It's located in Williams, AZ on the historic Route 66 and it definitely plays up to its history as an old western town. It's the perfect place to stay on the way to/from the Grand Canyon (about an hour drive north of Williams). The Red Garter used to be... more

The location is in the heart of Williams, a nice old town on Route 66. If you are going to ride the train up to the Canyon, this is the place to stay (the train station is a about 3 blocks away). However, we were on our way to the Grand Canyon, so we did not do the train thing,... more

Perfect place to stay. Inn is really clean and so original, we felt like we're back in time or in a Lucky Luke movie. Hosts are greats and they help you to plan your trip in the area. Breakfast are okay. The B & B is well situated. P.S. Try the mexican restaurant next the B & B. more

What a wonderful choice, a really interesting place. I had heard about the ghosts and was a bit apprehensive, but didn't see any luckily. The room was really interesting. John the owner was very pleasant and told us lots of local history stories over breakfast. Which was also nice. This was a great location for the grand canyon. Lots of... more

If you like trains then this is a good location to be near them! The rail line is just across the parking lot from the room that we had at the front of the building, you can see the freight trains going through and over the level crossing! The Grand Canyon railway also runs from a few hundred metres from... more

We arrived in Williams on an unusually rainy day in August, aware that we couldn't check in until 4pm (most of Williams takes a Siesta bizarrely) we wandered around the few open shops, a cute gift shop run by a Brit selling imported British tat, just what you need when you've travelled all that way from the UK! And a... more

Stayed at Red Garter for 1 night whilst visiting Williams and Grand Canyon. Had read some good reports about this Bed and Bakery and thought we would give it a go. Our room was the Big Bertha room which looks out to the rear of the property, it had two double beds, Satellite Tv and a bathroom with a Rolltop... more
