Spent 6 days up there and had a wonderful,relaxing time.Only problem I had was with the pit toilets.They needed desperately to be pumped.The camp host and hostess were wonderful.Will definitely go back again.Very spacious.

We stay in this campground several times during the summer months as we get away from the heat in the valley. They put in new rest rooms in the upper area in 2008 so that made it much better. We always stay in the upper campground as there is less traffic there and the camp hosts keep the spaces clean.... More

Drove through the campground after leaving Grand Canyon, and spent a couple hours. The lake is down at least half....severe drought in the area. The pit toilets are a little gross, unless your'e used to roughing it. It was tough on the women with us.
