This KOA had just changed managers, and wasn't well run at the time (Dec 03/Jan 04). Our cabin smelled of animal urine. The showers were on timers, and the water never got hot at all, which was horrible during the cold winter. The mats in the shower were uncomfortable and hurt my feet. This campground was terrific! We stayed 3 nights and loved it. After being in Las Vegas at a concrete campground, this KOA truly had a camping aura. They have an indoor pool, great store and lots for the family to do. We took the train to the Grand Canyon as well as the tour coach and that was great too.... more
