Hotel was easy to find (Williams is a small town) and centrally located. Check in was slow as there were hoards of families in the lobby. Check-in staff very friendly and helpful. Room was large enough and comfortable for two adults. Heat in room worked well. The low temps in Dec. were in the teens. Shower diverter barely worked. Most... More

We stayed here this week . Rooms are very small. No TVs. Trying to go with a historic theme I guess, there is stuff everywhere in the rooms. No surface is clear to put your things! Far too much clutter!! No nightstands or bedside lamps , With a bit of thought they could put lights on the wall and shelves... More

Loved our stay here. Very courteous and timely service. The room we got (the Romantic I think it was called) was historically decorated, which fit well with the ambiance of the town. The hotel itself is nicely located, right on main street. Our room was quiet and was fitted with a clawfoot bathtub. Downstairs they allow guests to use the... More

Absolutely a great litlle quaint hotel in Williams, AZ. The staff was all wonderful, friendly and willing to share information to make our stay at the Grand Canyon a memorable one. Scott Woods, concierge, was full of knowledge, ideas and activities for our family and made many recommendations of things to do and see during our trip. John, our server... More

From the moment we came in to the hotel and were handed a list of free rooms ,told to 'have a look and select your rooms' we knew we had a new experience ahead. The hotel itself has been renovated to a point near it's beginnings, possibly still someway to go . The rooms were 'themed' on the slightly bizzare side(we... More

The room was clean, the price was good and we needed to sleep. The internet was slow and dropped out a bit. The bed was soft and the plumbing was good. The hotel itself is very old and has been refitted after a stint as an abandoned pidgin house so there is a lot of character. Added to which each... More

We spent three nights at the Grand Canyon Hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone. The hotel has a long and interesting history and has been faithfully restored retaining all its original character from the late 1800s. Oscar the proprietor is very welcoming and friendly. Williams is a great, friendly town and the Grand Canyon is just a 45... More

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels in the last few years, and find that the greeting you receive when you walk through the door is often indicative of how well a hotel is managed. I arrived in town after having spent 2 nights with little sleep. I have asthma and allergies, and cannot handle the scented room fresheners hotels often... More

Wenn you are looking for a different hotel then you used 2? Go to the Grand Canyon Hotel in Williams. It started in 1891 until now. OK, the rooms are small but we liked it. We stayed in the Romantic Room. This is stepping back in time with very friendly people. And of course you are on the old route... More
