The Comfort Inn and Suites in Blytheville, AR, just opened in May of 2008. It is very clean and comfortable inside. The breakfast area is roomy, well stocked, and clean. The rooms themselves are also spacious and clean. It is also easy to get to from the interstate. The employees were all very nice. They even made sure we had the same room coming and going.
We chose this hotel because it was at almost exactly the halfway point of our trip, has an indoor pool, and is very new. If Blytheville is near your stopping point for the night, I highly recommend this hotel.
The only downside was the lack of a hot tub by the pool and the pool not being hot enough for the winter (it's indoors, obviously). Don't mistake this hotel for the Quality Inn next door that is the old Comfort Inn. Some review sites still have them mixed up.
If you are coming from the north on I-55, make sure to stop at Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston, MO, for dinner before arriving in Blytheville. It...
