Gorgeous grounds, magnificent views and friendly staff make this a charming place to stay. It's best to eat elsewhere as they are not equipped to give a good dining experience. Breakfast is ok and included in the very low rates. No television or phones in the cottages. It's very close to Panajachel for dining, shopping and catching boat taxis. The... more

Beautiful and simple hotel in a spectacular and quite location facing the volcanoes surrounding the lake. Very nice welcome and service by authentic personnell. more

This was a delightful inn until it changed hands earlier this year. The otherwise pleasant, helpful staff are all scared of incurring the wrath of the new owner. She has clearly given them strict orders that she will not be wasting her money on anything as foolish as maintenance or well balanced meals for the guests. I hope a new... more
