If you want to be downtown in the historic area, this place is an excellent choice. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having access to a prep kitchen with coffee/tea/frig and complimentary evening pastry. We also appreciated the extra seating and ample closet space. All rooms are attic level, 2 flights up from the street. The owners of the cafe live on the first level up. While we were very comfortable here and would definitely stay here again, please note that the room smelled heavily of cigarettes (yuck!) and that the one toilet for 4 rooms (possibly 10-12 people) was decidedly insufficient. My daughter almost had an accident before she could get into the toilet room. I don't know why the customer toilet on the first floor wasn't left unlocked for guests to use. That would be better than cleaning up an accident! The seperate shower room was clean and spacious with sufficient water pressure and hot water.
