These "luxury" resort cabins are among the oldest in Eureka Springs, and must have been quite something back in the day. However, the owners have put several of them up for sale and have evidently not been inclined to invest much in their upkeep. While the location and views from our cabin were excellent, the windows were filthy, there was an inoperative burner on the stovetop, a wall of lights by the tub were evidently burnt out, and the hot water supply ran out in the middle of running water for the jacuzzi tub. Little notes posted everywhere concerning "do's" and "don'ts" for cabin guests are somewhat insulting and grow tiresome quickly. The kicker, though, was when a note from the office was dropped off for us by a staff member at around 9 pm... on our honeymoon! How terribly unprofessional.
