Very disappointed with hotel--if this hotel had been renovated I think the owners need to think about the quality of work they paid for. The hotel is a hovel on the inside. Hotel room appears to be dirty. Room was not vaccuumed during our stay. Shower curtain was stained and unclean. Evening shift Front Dest was not receptive to complaints after morning shift indicated that room would be cleaned. I loved being in a place far removed from the standard hotel/motel. I wish the pool would have been better cleaned/maintained, but with the heat may have been understandable. Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, very cozy town. Enjoyed the ghost tour on site but felt uneasy about staying in hotel after taking tour. Personally didn't get much sleep due to either my mind of actual things happening. Be sure to ask hotel staff to stay in less "active" room. We had a wonderful time for our first anniversary. It was very romantic. My wife and I had a great time. We went on the Ghost Tour, but did not experience anything paranormal. We look forward to going back again. more
