The hotel was really neat and fun to stay in over all, but we did have a few issues with the place. The hotel is pretty. We liked the historic setting but as with most historical locations the hotel was simply modernized but not kept up very well. The baths were small with footed bath tubs which are charming but not very practical. Our shower curtain rods were broken and we had to fix them ourselves in order to take a shower.... more

This was our first stay at the hotel, and what a rare jewel did we find! The rooms, the service, the dining experience were all top notch. We truly enjoyed all aspects of our visit and definitely plan on staying at the hotel again when we are in the area. more
