I loved the chateau and its surroundings but the reception was a bit chilly. Although the vicomtesse greeted us in the courtyard, she would not show us to our until the entire party had arrived. Unfortunately, it does ruin the experience a bit. But the rooms are gorgeous, if a little rustic, and the beautiful grounds are impeccably groomed. more
