Saignon is a beautiful unspoilt village in Provence situated above Apt . The Auberge is in the centre of the village and accessible (just) by car, although there is adequate parking nearby. There is a certain faded charm about the hotel, faded perhaps being the operative word. The rooms are all individual but full facilities are available in each. The... More

Needed a place to stay between St Remy and the Verdon Gorge, something with character. It was a bit off our route, but we were not disappointed. Charming small village, up winding and narrow roads.Large room, with 2 beds, for friends traveling together. Couches, chairs and a modern bath. Like the other review, hallways were a maze. Up 3 flights,... More

Set in the heart of this small village, this is a simple hotel with style. Perfect service and wonderful ambience, and a perfect cafe extending into the square. Lovely rooms, if you can find them in the medieval tangle of corridors and stairways. The small village is set in beautiful countryside. My friend and I arrived by bicycle. If you... More

Very cental place to explore le Luberon area. Nice restaurant too. Very friendly service, with character. (Altough the owner was on holiday himself). We stayed 3 days longer than we originally planned, because of the whole satisfaction. Très pittoresque! More

Stayed two nights on a recent bike trip through Provence. Hotel in a very cool setting in the center of ancient town on top a big hill. Cool fountain outside hotel entrance makes for nice place to grab a drink after a hot day biking. Rooms definitely average (in that old world European flavor) but room we stayed in did... More

We spent 2 nights in the Auberge , staying in the Beffroi room. Perfectly comfortable, cool and although not air conditioned, there was a fan provided. Breakfast was extra but plentiful, including soft boiled eggs on offer as well as the usual juice, cereal, bread, croissants etc. Staff were pleasant and helpful. You can only get the car near to... Just spent five days and what a great time we had. Beautiful hotel in a very charming small village with wonderful people. Rooms are basic with no tv but very clean and charming. The staff are all amazing especially Alaxi and the man with the long hair which I never got his name. He was a real pleasure to talk... More

We stayed for 2 nights and were very impressed. The location is fab and the room we stayed in (Eveque) was lovely. We liked the fact that we could choose not to have breakfast as we weren't that hungry in the morning. Saignon is beautiful and has some lovely restaurants. More

My wife and I used the Auberge du Presbytere as our home base for a 13 day visit to Provence. During that time we visited Avignon, Arles, Nimes, Isle sur la Sorgue, Bonnieux, St Remey,Orange, Les Baux, Gigondas, Lacoste, and other sites. All of our day trips were wonderful but knowing that our comfortable room with a beautiful Luberon countryside... More
