We were a little bit worried when we arrived as there was a power cut which was expected to last until 6.30pm. We visited the geysirs which are just across the road and were absolutely amazing, especially as there was no one else there. By the time we got back, our cabins were warm and electricity restored. Cabin was very nice with everything essential for a comfortable stay. However, we did experience a few disappointments: the smoke detector chirped all night needing a battery change, a burned out light bulb that rendered the room dim and no internet connection. Since the hotel was not fully booked care should have been taken that all was in working order... More

We called here for lunch as it was lovely, the area is lovely as you can see the thermal area too As we didn't use the rooms/cabins I can really comment but the food was lovely and fresh and the staff were efficient and helpful. I would go back but would stay next time
