My husband and I spent two nights in this romantic gem of a hotel in mid-June. It is hands-down the most wonderful place for rest and relaxation. The views are spectacular, the staff is very friendly/helpful, and the room was very very comfortable and clean. Ballycotton is truly the epitome of a small, out of town, Irish fishing village with... more

I can not praise the staff enough. every member of satff was so friendly and very accomadating, helped bring luggage from car to room, supplied cot for baby, always had few nice words when coming and going. It is a small hotel, so you see the same satff and people staying over your stay (if short). They have a great... more

A lovely, quaint hotel that I was expecting to be nice due to its location in East Cork, but it was even more picturesque than I thought. Was there for a weekend in July for a wedding and it was fantastic. The perfect place to unwind and the food was gorgeous. more

Stayed for one night in the Bayview Hotel. Great room rate of €85.00. Friendly receptionist - clean bedroom - fantastic view. Decided to go for dinner in the restaurant that evening - bitterly disappointed. From starters to dessert we were not impressed. Soup (overly priced @ €7.50 a bowl) was very bland. Our mains were also lacking flavour - everything... more

If you're looking for a quite getaway thats not too far removed from civilisation then the Bayview is perfect!! I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend and we both loved it. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much of an ask. As a veggie I was really impressed that the restaurant had a separate vegetarian... more

Just back from a short break to celebrate a big birthday. The hotel very kindly gave us a complementary upgrade. I was a little disappointed to find no robe in the room only to read the day we were leaving that we could have requested a robe. It pays to read the hotel bumpf at the start of a stay.... more

We had our wedding here at the end of July, and can't say enough about the hotel. The staff were amazing, our guests were blown away by the welcome, service, location and food. Everyone said the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding, with a choice of three starters and main courses, as well as a... more

My wife and I stayed at the bayview in Ballycotton for one night in late July. This is a lovely hotel in a breathtaking location overlooking Ballycotton harbour and lighthouse. The girls at reception were very friendly and made us feel right at home. The room (ours was on the second floor) was a nice size with a great view.... more

Stayed at this hotel recently as we were attending a wedding reception there. The first thing that struck us on arrival was the amazing view from this hotel. It's in the middle of Ballycotton in East Cork, which is a fishing village. The hotel is set up on a height overlooking the harbour and has views all across the bay.... more
