Glenshandan is a very quaint lodge in a happening little town. I had no idea Swords was an bustling of a little town as you could ask for. We checked in at the desk with a very friendly and animated lady and were given a suggestion for a restaurant within walking distance. The room itself was really just a room, two beds, a desk, and a bathroom. The toilet was inconsistent about flushing but otherwise, I think the room was fine.

We think that there may be long term tenants at this location as there was a lot of activity between rooms later at night and doors to rooms were often left open. It was like they all knew eachother and were hanging out. The noise wasn't too bad but it did take me a little while to fall asleep. Also, this was a non-smoking place but often smelled strongly of smoke but I think that may be because people were hanging out on the front step smoking with the front door partially open.
