Picked the hotel because it was relatively inexpensive and close to airport. Bathroom door didn't close, beds were uncomfortable and linen was torn, place was noisy, staff not particularly helpful. Part of hotel allows smoking and is smelly. Carpet filthy. Crack in the wall of one room. It WAS close to the airport, and we DID get a wakeup call... more

I chose the Travelodge in Swords as I was travelling with my pet dog and wanted a cheap overnight stay. The staff were reasonably friendly although check-in was slower than it should have been. The room was spacious and very clean. It's no frills of course - just a couple of analogue stations on the telly, tea and coffee making... more

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write your positive review. I’m delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. I do apologise for the disturbance from the room above you. It is sometimes difficult to avoid such noises even with some level of soundproofing. This is a situation we will review at the next managers meeting. Kind Regards,...

I think this hotel is a disgrace. I was attending an event for the entire day of my stay and arrived at the hotel at approximately 12.30pm. I tried to check in early so I could leave and go to the event but was informed that it would be an additional 10 euro's just to leave my bag in the... more

Hi there, Firstly, thank you for taking the time to write your review. We can never improve unless we get feedback from our customers. Throughout Travelodge Ireland we do give our guests the early check-in/ late departure option depending on availability on arrival – some hotels must be pre-booked. When guests book our hotels we make sure it is clearly...

After doing some research, we found this hotel to be the best value within easy reach of Dublin Airport (just two roundabouts away). Our room (at the rear of the hotel, not facing the road) was quiet, and the 5:30 alarm call got us out of bed in time to catch our plane home. Unlike the UK Travelodges, these guys... more

All we needed for an airport stay and more. We were well looked after at the hotel, very nice staff, spacious bedroom. We were able to walk into the little swords village from the hotel which took only 5 minutes and was a nice way to spend the evening instead of being confined to your room like you are in... more

I had an early morning flight, booked here in the hope of finding something cheap and cheerful. Easy and quick check in but found dirty sheets on the made bed in my room. Made staff aware of this and room was changed. Comfortable, large room, strange stains on couch. Restaurant was average, on a par with your own local sit... more

When coming back from my holidays I stayed in this hotel as my flight back to Cork wasn’t until the next morning. I arrived at the airport after 11pm so had to take taxi to the hotel which cost me around €11. In reception there was a training process going on for new staff members so check-in process took a... more

After a long flight from Australia we needed to find somewhere to park up for the night. The trevelodge would be the last thing on my list but I was so wrecked I just didn't care. The rroms were clean but plain, TV, kettle and the bible! The breakfast wasn't great and wasn't cheap either. Overall its OK if you... more

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I’m delighted our hotel met your standards. At Travelodge we don’t offer the frills you find in other hotels which help to justify their high prices. Instead, at Travelodge, we provide the essentials for a comfortable night’s sleep. The site restaurant is franchised to Metzo caterers. I will...

We chose this place so we'd have a very short commute to return our rental vehicle and get to the airport the next morning. The rooms are what you might expect - sparingly furnished, but we found ours to be clean with extra blankets/pillows and everything else we needed. The staff were helpful, providing us with good information on how... more
