Well, a night out in Gatwick is hardly something one chooses but if you have to travel far, the flight is early and public transport is not an option then a local hotel is almost an essential.

The shuttle to the airport is free and, thank the Lord, when I got back the shuttle picked me up within just a few minutes. That was the greatest service of all!

The hotel is on the outskirts of Horley. It is about 5 minutes drive from the airport and 10 minutes walk to the town centre where there is a selection of pubs and retaaurants - but I would not go there on holiday!

We hired a car at Dublin Airport and followed the easy directions to this lovely little B&B. Spent 1 night early September 2004. Nice and close to the airport, bit of a drive into Dublin. Room was large, well appoointed for three people, all very new, huge bathroom and shower with bath. Beds were comfy and linen clean and fresh. Were greeted by really lovely couple. Breaky was good and rates were average. Close to small historic village of Swords. Need a car to stay here. We would reccommend it.
