I have been a loyal cusomer in the newgrange for years, I recently had cause to complain to the manageress about an incident in the hotel bar, and to say she was abrupt and rude is an understatement. This' lady' needs a few classes in customer care ,something she is severely lacking . The newgrange is known for its friendly... more

This is a nice hotel with a good selection of food and friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable and it is ideally located if you want to do a bit of shopping in town, although getting in and out of the car park was a bit tight. The hotel room we stayed in was clean and quite large, however... more

We stayed one night in this hotel so we could tour the Bru na Boinne site the next day. Hotel is very difficult to reach because of one-way streets. However, once we finally got there, we were pleased to find a classic old hotel. Service was good and so was the restaurant. There's an underground parking garage just past the... more

This hotel has everything, beautifully appointed rooms which are spotlessly clean, restaurant with excellent food and service, bistro, club bar, 3 lounge areas, free resident car parking, happy and friendly staff and Rowley's Pub. Rowley's has live music at weekends, and the whole of the hotel and the pub are totally charming and have a wonderful atmosphere. I could not... more

This hotel is in the very heart of Navan. Park your car in the underground carpark and explore Navan town. The hotel is lovely inside with its quirky layout. There is a great old library room and lovely little bar areas. The staff especially in reception were very friendly and helpful. We asked for a room that overlooked the Boyne... more

Stayed here for one night at a rate of €90pps. Hotel itself was fine, basic 3 star. Check in staff were lovely as were the bar and restaurant staff. The lady running the restaurant on the night we ate there was really efficient and the dinner was included in the price which I found really good. The room itself was... more

I stay in the hotel earlier this month and I have to say I found it to be a very nice local hotel. Not being from the area and only staying for a short time, the staff were very helpful in telling me the best sights to see and were to eat outside of the hotel. The bedroom was very... more

I stayed for one night. I left a personal, irreplaceable and important item in my room by mistake on leaving. I spoke to the manager less than 24 hours later and she informed me in the rudest manner possible that housekeeping had "binned" it. She made me feel incredibly unimportant and small. There was no apology. No chance for reimbursement.... more
