Stayed at Slane Farm Hostel for one night when attending a wedding in Tankardstown. From start to finish our stay was perfect. We were greeted by the daughter of the owners and she was so nice and friendly and showed us to our room. She even gave us a lift up to the hotel. Can't get better service than that,... More

Our experience started when making our reservation. Gemma was so friendly. I instantly knew that we were in for a treat. Upon arriving we were welcomed when getting out of our car and shown to the most amazing rooms I've stayed in for a long time. We stayed in the cottages. Cute, spacious and clean, we had a kitchen/living room... More

I stayed here last year at the very end of the season with 25 teenagers from England. The welcome was warm, helpful, the place was spotless and so cosy. Its the best venue I have used for groups in over 20 years of youth work residentials. Absolutely first rate. As soon as I can, i will be bring my family... More

Everything about the place is a credit to the owners. i arrived late - the heating is on and i check in the next morning; i am on my own and the rate is reduced; my suitcase doesnt arrive and i am offered clothes... Stayed here for one night after an event in Wilkinstown. The hostel was great, really clean, nice rooms, comfortable. Slept really well. There was a large group of us, so the games room was nice to hang out in.

Stayed there for just the one night. The facilities were clean and efficient, and the homely look certainly added to the night. Having just come from our Intervarsity competition, it was nice that we could split up into those who were going to bed, and those who would stay up longer. The rec room was quite effective for the latter... More

Stayed with a large group after a sporting event nearby. The rooms were large, clean and beautiful. The amenities were brilliant and very modern. Woke up to a fantastic view of the mountains covered in fresh snow. Great stay.

Stayed there with a group for 7 nights. The cottages are well designed and fitted out to a high standard. We had a two bedroom and a single bedroom cottage. New laid eggs and fresh vegetables are available to guests. There are free bicycles to use to explore the area. Slane Castle is 5 minutes walk away, the Hill of... More
