We were a very large family staying at Lisanisk House, it was generally a lovely property set in a beautiful area and close to Carrickmacross Town....although it was very old fashioned. The owner Rosleen was very friendly and always there to help....would definitely recommend to a friend....

We stayed in a spacious family room after a wedding in the Nuremore which is just a 5 euro taxi journey away. The room was clean and beds comfortable. It was much better value than the wedding venue. The owner was friendly. Breakfast was just ok. I didn't like the cheap fruit juices.

Once again returned to Lisanisk House for a fishing spell and the wife to relax and chill out. The weather was atrocious but the service we received at Lisanisk still made it an enjoyable holiday. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone requiring good service. Clean rooms and a very good breakfast.

Stayed at this B&B and was more than happy with everything. Great service & friendliness of all staff and the host, Rosealeen, was very helpful. I took in some fishing also on the beautiful scenic lake that runs right up to the front lawn, the fishing was great too! You will not find a more hospitable, accommodating B&B in all of Ireland. All of the family members where very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the room, very comfortable and clean...and I specially enjoyed the conversations with Rosaleen. The breakfasts were delicious and the location was very convenient. This house is very professionally run and has excellent facilities.
