Our family of five from London spent a long weekend at Alice's Loft. We found the property beautifully located, surrounded by farmland. The facilities at the cottage were excellent, it was spacious and clean. The owner and indeed the locals were very friendly and nothing was too much bother. This was our second time staying at Alice's Loft, we couldn't have asked for more. The cottage was extremely comfortable, all mod cons and traditional comforts. I have traveled all of the United States and a great deal of Europe, and this is one of the better establishments at which I have stayed. Declan, the proprietor, was an excellent host. He was very helpful in our travels around the countryside, giving us directions to less traveled, but more enjoyable places to visit. The accommodations were excellent.... more
