We stayed in the hotel from 24 to 26th May last. We had 19 members with us ranging in age from mid 30th's to mid 60th's. Each member has nothing but praise for this Hotel, the wonderful staff who at all times were so helpful, courteous and professional, from reception to the restaurant and the bar. The food was excellent... More

We went to the Glencarn for our 37th anniversary, it is the best hotel we stayed in, in a long time, the staff were excellent, the food terrific, we even got to see Robert Mizzell for free in the ballroom, ballroom is beautiful, rooms are very comfortable, could find no fault at all. Thank you Glencarn, we'll be back.

My wife and I travelled from Albany, NY, to County Monaghan in April on a search to find my Irish roots. Based on reviews from other travelers on this site, we decided to stay at the Glencarn. It was an excellent choice. The hotel is in the center of the beautiful little village of Castleblayney. You can walk anywhere in... More

I have stayed here a few times mainly with work. It is a very clean, comfortable hotel in Castleblayney. I had bar food and breakfast in the hotel and everything was very nice. Rooms were slightly dated but extremely clean and comfortable which is a good sign of the attention that goes into caring for guests in this establishment. There... More
