I cannot wait to stay in Markree again; it is just perfect for that peaceful retreat! Love it! Instead of birthday gifts, my husband now gives me Markree vouchers for my next visit! Love the dining room experience and the food is out of this world.

We loved staying here. It was like a step into the past. The food was wonderful. The grounds were fabulous. We loved our room, it was huge. If there is anything negative to say about this wonderful property is that the mattresses definitely need to be replaced. This is the castle for families on a budget.

Our stay at Markree Castle was the highlight of our trip. Our room was spacious and filled with historical charm. The gardens were beautiful, the views spectacular!!! Our breakfast were an excellent start to each day. Warm friendly atmosphere around open fire to end the day, or a pint of Guinness for a nite cap.
