This is more like a B& B. Good location, nice bed, lovely young staff. Of all the Inns & B & Bs we've visited, this has been the overpriced one. No longer serving complimentary wine & the portions at breakfast are miniscule. Dickson St action makes sound sleeping difficult. Everything is small including parlor and dining room. Nice touches include... More

Stayed at the end of November for a combined business and pleasure trip. Perhaps it was the day of the week I was there, but I found the Inn to be quiet and peaceful. I believe I was in room 7. Bob is an extremely helpful individual--he cooked a lovely breakfast and scraped our car windows! The Inn's location is... More

This Inn is a wonderful alternative to some of the business hotels during the week when Dickson street isn't so busy. It's almost the same price as the large commercial hotels in town. The gourmet breakfast is a wonderful and relaxing way to start the morning. The Asst Manager is AMAZING and committed to ensure every guest has a wonderful... More

this is a wonderful place to stay, the only drawback is the noise. There is a bar right below you and the noise goes on until the early morning hours. The outdoor patio creates its own set of noise. thesis right on Dickson street where there are tons of places to eat and drink, however with that comes the other... More

Very nice room, professional staff, clean, and very comfortable. Loved the sitting areas inside and out. Antiques and attention to detail throughout. My favorite part must be the adjacent pub with rooftop seating - great place to talk and sip. My ONLY complaint is their overflow parking area, a long block or two away. Continental, not a lavish breakfast is... More

Dickson Street Inn is in a great location - right in the middle of downtown and seconds from the campus. The rooms are beautiful - very clean and newly updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There's reserved parking right next to the building. The rooms are small, but it didn't bother us. And, the common rooms need a... More

We stayed here on a Thursday night and thought it was wonderful. I would agree with the other reviewers that Bob, the assistant manager, was outstanding and went out of his way to extend a level of hospitality that was unexpected. The bed was excellent and the room was beautiful. I can't wait to come back.

This place could really be nice on a quiet Sunday, but my wife and I stayed on Friday night and the street noise from bars and house parties is ridiculous! The room was small (as advertised) with just a bed and a nice large tub. We thought that was all we needed, but seeing as how we have been unable... More

We only stayed here one night. The room was #3 it was cozy but too tiny. It was difficult finding places to set the bags. The room was clean mostly, except the finger prints on the inside of the bathroom door were kinda gross...easy to miss for a few weeks i suppose. The tub was clogged and the toilet had... More

Bob is the Assistant Manager, but much more than that for this Inn. If you've ever watched a movie where the manager of an Inn is personable, and would do everything possible (though neither expected nor requested) to make your stay the best it has ever been, then you truly need to meet Bob. Phenomenal customer service, and sincere concern... More
