Not only was the ensuite room clean and comfortable (as clean and comfortable as you can get!), but the help of Larry and Barbara went way beyond what one could expect, although I must add that everyone we met on our two-week trip to Ireland was amazingly nice and helpful. We were looking for Carey family connections, and every night... More

Excellent hosts- Larry went above and beyond in his welcome.. both are very friendly, helpful. Great homemade bread!! Breakfest ideal. Home like feel. Ideal if you have an event on in nearby hotel. Stone's throw away, but superior in its hospitalities.!! Definitely will stay again if I am in the area. Rooms exceptional!!

We had such a great time in this B&B ! Everything was more then perfect... Larry and Barbara are really nice, friendly and warm people. Their homemade bread tasted so good, breakfeast was more then enough. The room was perfectly clean, the bathroom big, with a nice bath and lots of hot water. Wifi was working very good and free.... Loved the clean comfortable room, hot shower, wifi, great breakfast and friendly environment created by Larry and Barbara. I would recommend anyone of my friends to stay there. Also, great as a base to visit historical sites in the Midlands, play golf, fish or even day trips to Dublin. Thank you. Loved it.

Wonderful place to stay. Barbara and Larry were so welcoming. The rooms are large, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was large with a seperate shower and bath and loads of fluffy towels! Great wifi which is free, tea and coffee facilities in the room and a hearty breakfast in the morning made it a great place to stay.... More

I stayed in Marlinstown Court in October with my husband and daughter before my daughter went in to have tonsils out and have since returned to stay again in November. Barbara and Larry were really flexible about us taking a triple room one night and then a single the second night! Lovely, comfortable house and the welcome and hospitality was... More

This was the first B&B we stayed at in Ireland. We had no idea what to expect or what would be expected of us. I mean, we were in someone's home. What is the polite thing to do? Hang out with our hosts and the other guests or stay in our room. Well, any anxiety we might have had was... More

Enjoyed our stay at Marlinstown Court, easy to find on the main street (though the GPS coordinates we had were slightly off), lots of parking in the rear, modern facility, nicely sized bright room. Comfortable bed and quiet, got a good nights sleep. Host was helpful and very engaged, classic Irish breakfast in the morning

We stayed at the B&B for two nights as we were traveling from the UK for a family wedding. The facilities here are truly top notch and I would definitely stay here again. We were provided everything that you would expect from a 4 star hotel with the added benefit of the personal touch from Barbara and Larry. The rooms... More

Stayed at the hotel for a wedding at the neighbouring hotel. Owners were fantastic, extremely helpful and friendly. They even went as far as to pick us up from the neighbouring town where the bus stopped so we weren't late for the wedding!! Hotel is spotless, rooms lovely and roomy with a very comfortable bed. Gardens are very well kept!!... More
