This is an excellent family run hotel (61 rooms) beside the castle wall in Chaves. Very attractive building, over 60 years old but in very good repair. Homely , comfortable rooms. Reasonable rates. Friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant available and modern bar/cafe area with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Well situated for walking the city or touring the surrounding area. Plenty of on-street parking (free) adjacent. more
