This hotel is excellent. Of course we are talking about a very small town but at Aquae Flaviae the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The lobby is also excellent with a nice bar and a rodizio churrascaria Brazilian style that serves really great barbecue. Great value!

Stayed here in 2006 so we must have liked it enough to come back for a couple of nights. We stayed at this hotel 4 times already. The rooms are spacious and the building is new and clean. They have an excellent restaurant and location is excellent as well within a short walk from the Castelo and downtown Chaves. Chaves by the way has excellent restaurants. I recommend: CARVALHO and O LAVRADOR. The staff ranges from nice to detached.... More
