Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The stay was okay, the room was nothing out of the ordinary but was fine for a night over. We ate at the cafetaria around 17:00 and the food there was fine but probably not worth the money. We definitely got overcharged for the beer 🍺 (5 euro for 1/2 L). In the morning the breakfast wasn't special either just got some ham, cheese and jam for your bread. The staff worked quite hard and they seemed nice. Overall our visit was okay but nothing out of the ordinary.

Very bad location, you think it is good as off motorway so convenient, but actually very good spot for car theft! Smashed window, thankfully alarm immobiliser set in otherwise we may have had no vehicle to drive to Spain in! Ruined out trip, local police not interested, would never stay at motorway stop hotel again. This one also very unfriendly

Stayed at this hotel for one night in October 2019 with my family as part of a tour group. Promised free wifi in the room - but only wifi in the public areas. Had a late dinner here in the hotel restaurant, and the food (beef stew, was meant to be hot) was cold inside. There were a ton of flies buzzing over your food in the restaurant. When we complained about the coldness of the food, the manager (?) just shrugged. The next morning, we had complimentary buffet breakfast. The "concierge" at the front desk that morning pointed to a sign written in Chinese when we walked in, stating not to take food out, and that the food is meant to be eaten on premises only. During the meal, he stood at the entrance/ exit to the dining room, where there were plenty of flies as well, and stared harshly at each person, almost daring us not to take food off the premises. The food was stale, so that would not have mattered anyway. Stay here at your peril.

We stopped for refreshments - the staff were welcoming, there were English menus available although we attempted Spanish and were more or less understood! The coffee and sandwiches were very nice, and there was an amazing display of cakes at the counter although unfortunately we didn't sample any. Food was cheap and of a good standard. We would stop by again.

Room was clean and that is only good thing I can say about this hotel. We stayed overnight during our tour to Spain and Portugal. When we reached the hotel it was cold and set the Aircon to use heating, and then woke up several times in the middle of the night as Aircon was not working at all. Next morning we came to know that all our tour members experienced the same issue with aircons. Room was very small and there was not enough space even to open the bags. Wifi didn't work at all and there was no plug points inside the room to charge our phones, and I was compelled to unplug the TV and use that plug point to charge our devices and never use the TV. No spare blankets were available in the room. No toiletries other than toilet papers and cheap looking soap were given - not even a shower cap was available. Breakfast had only a few items to choose. We felt that this is only a 2 star rated hotel.

The hotel was situated just off the main highway. The first room we were given was very noisy and no outlook but after complaining we were given a larger room with a view over the mountains. There was no air conditioning in the rooms when we went in May and it was very hot. The breakfast was taken not in the main restaurant but in a selected area of the café. We found the staff pleasant and helpful although their English and our Spanish was limited.

Cheap formerly nice hotel. Would have been rated high primarily for its price, but there was no air conditioning in the room which is crucial in late May. The internet also didn't work. We were lucky to have a cool night which allowed us to open the window to cool down, but I would never have booked had I known it did not have AC.

Firstly I would say that had we spoken their language, it might have been a more congenial experience . . but we didn't. No attempt was made to make us feel welcome. We eventually resorted to speaking in French. Check in took ages. The room, I have to say was lovely with a good sized bathroom and wonderful views over the surrounding hills. The central heating refused to work as did the TV and as we were on the 3rd floor and were ready for bed before we realised, we couldn't face the trek down stairs again. We'd already had problems with no internet connections in the rooms and had sat, in the freezing reception lobby to get a very limited and intermittent signal. Breakfast was in the adjoining café and although there was plenty of cake type items we had to struggle to get toast (again probably our lack of language) and coffee. Parking was directly in front of the hotel and the motorway (which was noisy even through the night) was just yards away. We will not be repeating the experience.

This hotel with a 4 star rating does not come up to even 3 star quality the rooms are clean, tidy and adequate but they lack maintenance the beds were comfortable and the common areas were smart, but there is a lack of staff as the hotel staff double as bar staff in the adjacent café/bar so there was never anyone to attend to us unless we went into the bar to ask (not 4 star attention) the cost was also high for the accommodation and care received .
