I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It's reasonably priced but it has "issues." The balcony has a nice view of the countryside and the sea in a distance. You would probably need a car to enjoy Nerja, about 2 miles away. The road up to the hotel check-in is narrow and hazardous. Parking is scarce up near the hotel entrance. When we arrived, Sat at 6 PM, there was a wedding going on and the parking situation was chaotic, since there was no real place to turn around. I would strongly recommend parking down near the main road and hauling your luggage upstairs. This place seems to host a lot of group events. At these times, comfort of the residential guests seems to be secondary .Our room was simple. My biggest complaint was that the place had lots of rules -- no outside food in the room, don't use their mini-bar as a frig. Yuk! The AC seemed to be pretty iffy, also. The restaurant in the hotel was good. Staff at the desk were very nice and spoke some English. more
