When we arrived at the Hotel Al Andalus in the early hours of the morning, we had no idea that the previous day this small town had experienced freak floods. Guests arriving just one day before us had not been able to get through the floods to the hotel and people visiting the restaurant were not able to get out.... more

I stayed at the Al Andalus Hotel for two nights over the May bank holiday. It is in Maro, Nerja near to the famous Nerja Caves! It is situated on a hill leading down back into Nerja. I arrived very early in the morning so the hotel was actually closed up. I had to ring the door bell to get... more
