Long weekend break (5-night) was what we were about. Arrived quite late, but nice to get a drink (complimentary) whilst the reception formalities were ironed out. We were on half-board, dinner had finished but they had left us out quite a buffet spread so no complaints there! Room on the sixth floor was nice enough, clean, well appointed, no particular... more

Just returned from short break at RIU PALACE - usual warm welcome and good standard of facilities. Room was a slight disappointment - hotel is horsehoe shaped - rooms on one wing therefore have limited/no sea view -overlook dusty service road. Avoid rooms in the range of 50 and up - view gets worse as numbers go up. Also slightly... more

We stayed in the Riu Palace for one week on a half board basis. We were given a very spacious room with a sea view and was excellently maintained every day, added with a few personal touches. The food in the restaurant was very good catering for every taste. The also have a speciality restaurant of which you can dine... more

stayed for just 1 night on 24th december before we moved to our apartment in las americas. Hotel beautiful inside and out, room was spacious and very clean and well presented. Had ground floor room with terrace. no complaints with room standard. Where half board, never made breakfast. Evening meal was buffet style which was average at best, however they... more

We stayed here for 6 nights and was allocated a room on the 4th floor with a sea view. The room was fine except for the terrible bed, it was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in and that includes camping! We had the sun on our balcony in the afternoon, which was nice as we could sit out and... more

My wife and I have just returned from a ten-night stay at the Riu Palace Tenerife (Aug 2007). Booking was through Thomson in the UK. We stayed two years ago at the Riu Palace Maspalomas in Grand Canaria and really enjoyed the hotel, but we were looking for somewhere that had better options for walking in the evening (which was... more

We stayed there for 1 week at the start of April 2007. The weather was lovely. Most of the other previous comments make sense - the location is fantastic, front line to the sea, with a great promenade that is good for early morning jogging if you're into that sort of thing. But equally as good for an evening stroll.... more

A belated review, so not recent and something to bear in mind. We last stayed a week in Apr06 halfboard. It was our 4th visit to the hotel since 1998. Our first 3 visits were great, it was a hotel that suited us. However, the last one was quite disappointing for the following reasons: 1 Hotel staff indifferent - not... more

We booked this hotel anticipating an "A La Carte" experience but were let down. Check-In was great offering us a glass of Sparkling Wine while our passport details were recorded and room allocated. Room had a great location with sea view at the front on the 4th floor. Very clean with plenty of wardrobe space and spacious private balcony. Our... more
