Great hotel, and wonderful restaurant, which doesn't appear to have changed for 40 years (nor do most of the waiters). Never eaten anywhere with a crepe suzette trolley and a special hammer for extracting fish baked in salt, before! Very well modernised, large rooms, and although we had a room which overlooked the street, the double-double window kept all noise out. Other contributors have mentioned a smell, which is all-prevailing, but not just in the hotel, in the surrounding streets as well. It appears to be a drains-connected smell! The hotel was OK. Nothing spectacular but fair accomodations. Beware of the food service though, both dinner and especially breakfast. I picked this hotel from reviews on Trip Advisor--it was a great choice. The hotel is clean and very centrally located for Figueres.
