Had a great time. Got taken here by my partner and everything was wonderful. We had a spa break so had massage etc included and dinner in the restaurant at night. This hotel has very high opinions of itself, reflected in the stratospheric prices of almost everything. I so wanted to like it. We stayed here for a wedding & although the grounds & setting are pretty amazing, I can't see what extra you are paying for. Our room was distinctly average. We had a hole in the bedsheets & stain on the bathroom towel. Nothing to quibble about but at these prices I feel justified in raising it. I wouldn't rush back... more
