Stayed here with another couple. Rooms are very, very comfortable and clean. Lovely feather and oen duvets and feather pillows, heaven! The staff are amazing, extremely polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

I like the Royal, the food can be good and the beer is not bad either especially when they have Lancaster Blond on - prefer it to Wainwright. Stayed here overnight on business and found the room large and comfortable and the staff helpful. The bar is nice and the restaurant has great food. The hotel is located in the centre of kirkby lonsdale in some lovely scenery. Can't wait to go back, i'm returning on business twice in April and May - it's a tough life!
