Hard to rate this hotel/spa, I do not agree that it is 5* but some aspects of it are. Staff were very polite and generally competent with the exception of reception. The food and service at the Ozone restaurant were excellent. The room (no 9) consisted of bedroom, bathroom and separate lounge. Furniture was tatty, stained and tired, only 1... More

Went to a half day spa 1-5. Excellent welcome where I collected my robe and slippers then I was shown around the spa. The outdoor spa pools were shut but this didn't spoil the experience as the indoor ones were great. As part of the offer I was booked in for a 30 min facial or massage. Before your treatment... More

Seaham Hall is 20 minutes drive from Newcastle centre and beautifully placed on the North Sea coast just south of Wearmouth. The Spa is fanstastic, and my wife treated me to a birthday set of neck and body massage which was truly invigorating. We particularly liked the outdoor hot tubs, and the cold ice baths are a must! That set... More

After visiting the hotel for years and also being married there it saddens me to say its just lost that magic touch! We had a spa day and it was good value for money but the spa needs work! Although the spa facilities are excellent the owners need to focus on the 'small stuff'. There were light bulbs out, not... More

My husband & I booked 3 nights here, in a superior room, from Wednesday to Saturday. We cannot wait to have an excuse to return. The staff were extremely curteous, knowledgeable, helpful & unobtrusive. When we arrived, we were shown to our room (& the concierge tried to explain how heating/TVs etc worked - have to say all this is... More

I have been visiting Seaham Hall for several years. Most recently for in January 2012 for my partners birthday. We enjoyed the facilities of Serenity Spa o much that we arrived at 2.00 p.m. on Friday and did not leave the place until after 6.00 p.m. on Sunday evening - we did not even go outside during this time. The... More
