We stayed at the Hotel for one night. Initial impressions were good with staff being friendly and well informed. Room was spacious and clean. Lots of unnecessary gadgets. I just want to swittch the lights & heating on & off. I do not want to feel the need to call 'Q' everytime I want to use the shower or draw... more

This hotel is the bees knees, the rooms are amazing, the restaurant is fantastic, I had the most beautiful melt in the mouth fillet steak. The whole place has a feeling of calm. Wonderful! more

We never thought that a report like this would be applicable to our favorite hotel. We first came across this hotel around 6 years ago when my wifes mother from france rung and said she she had seen a great place advertised. We looked into it and made our first weekend reservation. Wow we was blown away by the whole... more

We spent 6 nights (And £2500!) at Seaham to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and for some serious r&r. Overall we were very disappointed with a complacent hotel where the reality did not live up to the hype or the bill. Firstly - hotel location. Be warned, if you're expecting country house in beautiful grounds and rural / coastal setting... more

Having read the reviews on TA, we were expecting good things, and it did not disappoint. From beautiful and carefully feng shuied interiors to quiet and exclusive areas within the hotel and spa. The best bits ~ the suite room 11 - spacious, luxurious, cosy ~ the staff ~ all friendly and great to hear regional accents! ~ the spa... more

We loved the hotel from the minute we arrived, the staff were polite, very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Every member of staff we met walking through the hotel smiled and said hello. Our room was beautiful and couldn't be faulted in any way. We had a great time at the spa, I especially enjoyed the outdoor hottubs.... more

My husband suprised me with a trip to Seaham Hall for my 30th birthday, managing to keep it a secret until the last minute! From the moment we arrived it was heavenly! The mix of beautiful surroundings and the friendly and approachable attitude of the staff made it a great start, and we did have a few comedy moments over... more

My friend and I enjoyed a spa day at Serenity Spa yesterday. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the day, however there were a few areas which I feel let the experience down and which with a little attention could be rectified easily by the management. Positives The spa is beautifully designed, the staff are attentive (if overworked due to apparent short... more

My first experiance of Seaham Hall was the booking I made via the phone. The receptionist was very polite and would only refer to me as sir. All requests were acknowledged and gladly adhered to. Even the request that I was not to be contacted by any other means than the email address provided as it was a surprise for... more
