Made a reservation by telephone for a group of 4 rooms to celebrate a 40th birthday. Reservation was handled efficiently and I received a confirmation the same day. Arrived on a bright sunny day (not many of those these days) to a welcoming and friendly hotel. Had six kids between us and were directed to the Dower House Apartments which turned out to be fab for space and preparing light snacks for the kids throughout the day. Saturday evening dinner was booked in a private room for eight of us (think it was called the Chinese room) which was wonderful. The food was excellent and exciting with a varied choice on the menu. Chef even produced a birthday cake for our friends 40th!
Kids had a fantastic time, the indoor pool was a winner along with the Four Bears Den the creche where the little ones were felt most welcome. Would definitely go back and recomend to all friends, especially those with families.
