Our third visit, and second stay in the granary annex. During this two night stay we never heard a noise from neighbouring rooms and had a gloriously peaceful time. The food in the restaurant was as good as ever, and we whole heartedly recommend the liver if it is on. It just melts in the mouth. Okay, if your under... More

I am so glad I found this hotel. It is ideal for a romantic getaway (about 2.5 hours drive from London). Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all very friendly. The estuary view from our room resulted in relaxing on the balcony and watching the tide ebb and flow with the sailors and tourists walking by.... More

While visiting Blakeney, we decided to pop into this place for a meal. After struggling to get through the front doors in my wheelchair (they were tall double doors each of which were not wide enough to get my wheelchair through and on had been bolted shut top and bottom. My wife had great difficulty unbolting the front door). We... More

We were a little disappointed at the choice of menu this time and felt the staff where not very professional they didn't seem to have a clue about coffee!! We asked for. Americano - it was awful served in old fashioned glasses we felt this was not good enough in a hotel of this class! Rooms are good - restaurant... More

I never usually write reviews on Tripadvisor but felt very disappointed with my stay at the Blakeney and wanted to help make sure that no one else leaves with the same sense of being ripped off. The room was nice, a bit small and with some poor fittings (such as a light weight door which looked like it came from... More

The Blakeney Hotel sits right on the quay in the centre of the village with plenty of parking. Walking in I was surprised by the size - it's much bigger than it looks but still retains a personal feel, perhaps because it is privately owned. The staff were all friendly and helpful and provided route maps for us to follow... More

Ha d a two night mid week break. Stayed in the granary. It was very comfortable and spacious with a comfy bed. The rooms were very quiet which was great and had blakmout curtains so adding to a good nights sleep. It is a more traditional hotel than we would normally stay in but it was very welcoming. the door... More

As usual The Blakeney was a calm and welcoming experience. Our food was excellent, especially the cheese souffle. The staff served with quiet efficiency, leaving us to enjoy the view and the food. As always we left feeling we had found an oasis of calm and satisfied appetites.

Had a family meal for 5 on a Sunday. The hotel was great with a nice situation, clean and friendly. I have to say the food was disappointing and should have been better for the price. Potatoes appeared to be frozen ones and the chicken was not that good. I asked if it was free range but no one knew.... More

Have just spent a very pleasant mid week break at the Blakeny. The hotel was indeed very pleasant with comfortable rooms (mine was in the Granary Annexe) and really good food for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful and its location is right on the estuary and coast, very good for bracing walks before or after... More
