This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the Norfolk Coast-all the staff are very professional and friendly. The room we stayed in was charming-other hotels take note-bottled water is supplied every day. The breakfasts were excellent-nothing was too much trouble, particularly in preparing vegetarian alternatives for my partner. The wine list excels in offering 30 wines by... more

Stayed here for two night for a birding trip. Room spotlessly clean and recently refurbished and very comfortable. This is a pub that really cant make up its mind if its a pub or restuarant. I would advise that they remain a pub as the food and menu is expensive for bar food and a far cry from a restuarant.... more

I took my husband to stay at the George for a birthday treat having stayed in may hotels in East Anglia I decided to try somewhere new. Unfortunately this is not somewhere I would stay again. This is more like a pub with rooms than a hotel. On the plus side the room was refurbished to a high standard. On... more

Wanted somewhere to stay in Norfolk and close to the sea, we took pot luck and booked the George from their web site. When we arrived, from the external appearance we both felt we might have got it wrong, however, when we got to our room it was such a pleasant surprise; clean, recently decorated with a large double bedroom,... more
