Was the last place available in Blakeney for that weekend and now it is clear why! The rooms were old fashioned and cheaply decorated, both of which would be fine with us. It was the dust, the smell of damp/drains and the trampoline-like bed which irked. Also be aware that many of the rooms are a motel like set-up, so... more

We didn't stay (so please ignore my room rating) but only ate in the Manor having been disappointed by the food in the Kings Arms. The food here was superior to and less expensive than the Kings Arms though the place seemed a little old fashioned. Felt like decent quality restaurant food at better than pub grub prices. Service was... more

On balance I felt that many reviews for this ideally located hotel were rather harsh. The staff, especially those in the restaurants, were efficient and friendly; the breakfasts were very good and the evening meals fine (with large portions); there was ample parking. However...the rooms were old fashioned and stuffy (without a fridge or mini bar) and the double bed... more

let me first out line a point, the food was good and the lower tier staff were very friendly! however this cannot be said for anything else that is involved in this hotel. disapointment is not the word we had good weather yes but this was devastatingly destroyed by uninterested managment, poor receptionist interaction and a feeling of un welcomeness!!... more

hoping to bring my elderly mother and aunt together along with my children I tried to book rooms. Firstly they would not book a single night at a weekend. Secondly they wouldn't take a child under 14. My daughter is 12 and has travelled the world. If she was elderly or black and they said they wouldn't take her it... more

My husband took me here for a last minute Easter/birthday break. We had a lovely weekend but it was nothing to do with where we stayed. Lets start with the good things; the location is great, right on the quay. And the room was much cheaper than other accomdation near by, but its very clear that you get what you... more

Nice Hotel in good location, rooms very basic, but clean, the biggest let down was the fact the bar opening times are vary dated the old licensing times are in operation, I was sitting in the garden Saturday afternoon haveing a cig when at least four families came to get a beer or afternoon teas but were turned away as no... more

We spent a three night break here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The main reason for booking was that dogs are welcome and that it was by the coast. We arrived early so had lunch in the bar to while away the time till we could book in, was very impressed to be told the dog could go in the... more

the manor hotel is a great place to go and relax for a few days. your mobile phone doesn't keep going off, that's a joy in itself ! food is great, rooms, staff, bar, lounge, all sufficient for a home from home experience. if you've got dogs they can come too. you can go out on a seal trip. go... more

I'm a regular in hotels with work and there's nothing more I enjoy than to get away from the usual corporate set up and head off to somewhere off the tourist track with no branded toiletries and dripmats. My other half thought the Manor would just hit the spot whilst I was doing some work in Blakeney. We declined to... more
