We stayed here in room 1. The house is lovely and the gardens however, I want to relax on holiday not be given a list of rules, a rigid 8.30 beakfast time and complete a list of my breakfast requriements the previous day, like being in hospital. I was and told not to get make-up on the towels. The rooms was fussy, with satin covers and pillow shams, which finished up on the floor, when the very nice duvet covers would have been perfectly adequate with a couple of cushions added. The TV was in the bedroom not the sitting room so had to watch in bed. The bathroom was dangerous, the two steps up to the shower were only 9 inches wide and in order to switch the shower on you had to open the door outwards and balance on the step, the result was a flood on the floor. I mopped up with the bath mat and small towel. I left all the towels on the floor to be replaced, and when we got back they were all, including the soaking wet ones, draped around the bedroom to dry.
