I stayed in this hotel as I wanted to visit Sandringham and was not expecting anything special but this hotel is really nice and I was very pleasantly surprised. Lovely room and bathroom, both very clean and newly decorated. Lovely place to stay. Just not what you would expect to find here because Kings Lynn is not very big. more

Bank House is a fine and fascinating building, largely eighteenth century, situated right on the quayside in the historic heart of this most lovely of English towns. Within a collection of buildings going back to 18th Century, hence passages and stairs. Stayed inthe Cresswell (see other reviews) - spacious but somewhat austere, large windows with unexciting view of river, huge connecting bathroom. Sadly this hotel is on a busy one way street so if you are after quietness this hotel is not for you.
