My partner and I stayed one night whilst visiting relatives. we received a lovely welcome and found the staff very pleasant and relaxed. We stayed in the TV room which is on the second floor in the attic.(all the other rooms were booked as we had left it quite late). The bedroom was spacious with lots of character the ensuite... more

I stayed in this hotel as I wanted to visit Sandringham and was not expecting anything special but this hotel is really nice and I was very pleasantly surprised. Lovely room and bathroom, both very clean and newly decorated. Lovely place to stay. Just not what you would expect to find here because Kings Lynn is not very big. more

Bank House is a fine and fascinating building, largely eighteenth century, situated right on the quayside in the historic heart of this most lovely of English towns. Service was uniformly excellent, all the way from reception to the restaurant. The staff managed the difficult trick of being friendly and helpful yet professional and intelligent. Our room overloked the quay through... more

Within a collection of buildings going back to 18th Century, hence passages and stairs. Stayed inthe Cresswell (see other reviews) - spacious but somewhat austere, large windows with unexciting view of river, huge connecting bathroom. Exceptionally large bed though mattress a bit firm, good linen. Spotlessly clean. more

Sadly this hotel is on a busy one way street so if you are after quietness this hotel is not for you. Our room was extremely cold and seemed to be boarded up in the corner from renovations, we asked to be moved to another room which the staff apologiesed for and kindly moved us to another room. The floors... more

Having just returned from a weekend at The Bank House I cant wait to book again! Our room was gorgeous - more like a suite with a very large bedroom and separate huge bathroom with a very grand free standing bath with shower....see previous feedback. The rooms were very warm and cosy on a cold january weekend, well furnished, extremely... more

....just as good as the 1st. My 2nd visit to Bank House Hotel and another fantastic stay. Anthony and his staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel (and Bar/Restaurant) is finished fantastically well, one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, the bedrooms are HUGE and have been designed thoughfully. My room this time featured a roll top... more

We were looking for a nice hotel to stay in after camping for a week in Norfolk. The location of this hotel is excellent, right in the town centre on the river, and very close to all pubs and shops. You couldn't fault the service, upon arrival we were shown to the car park and given a choice of 3... more

King’s Lynn has the most wonderful architecture and is a great centre for visiting North Norfolk and The Bank House Hotel is the only place worth staying in. It's situated in the quiet centre of the old merchants’ area next to the Great Ouse River. Many of its rooms overlook the river and the rest overlook a quiet square -... more
